Miss Tanzania 2019 hosted its coronation night on 23rd August 2019 where contestants from all over the country competed for the Miss World Tanzania 2019 crown and at the conclusion of the event, Sylivia Sebastian was crowned the new queen. She succeeds Miss Tanzania 2018 Queen Elizabeth Makune and will now represent Tanzania in Miss World 2019.
Sylivia is 19 years of age who represented Lake zone (Mwanza) at the national contest. As she has now won the national crown, she wants to use the honour to help women, children and youth without forgetting the elderly people. Being a leader and a young woman, she wants to focus on development and make a strong generation. The newly crowned queen’s court included –

Second Runner-Up - Queen Anthony Magesse (Age: 20 Years)
Last year, Miss Tanzania 2018 Queen Elizabeth Makune represented her country in Miss World 2018 but unfortunately could not win a placement in the Top. Tanzania is yet to pioneer its win in Miss World.
