Reinado de El Salvador 2021 was held on 29th July 2021 at the Hotel Crowne Plaza San Salvador in San Salvador, El Salvador where Alejandra Gavidia was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2021. She succeeded Miss Universe El Salvador 2020 Vanessa Velázquez for the title.
Gavidia holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and government and a master’s degree in image consulting and political consulting. She is fluent in English, French and Portuguese. Through 2018 to 2019, the stunning beauty travelled the world gaining a different perspective and has been to 15 countries.
In 2020, she received the Joven Influyente de la República por parte de la Asamblea Legislativa recognition in El Salvador. She works to provide visibility to minority groups in the LGBTQIA + community, such as the asexual community and towards improving the lives of vulnerable groups in her country such as women sex workers, people with disabilities, and people living with HIV.
