The very beautiful Anea Garcia has been officially announced as the representative of Dominican Republic for the Miss Grand International 2015. She is the new Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2015. Standing tall at a height of 6 feet, Anea is pursuing her double major in legal studies and philosophy. Further continuing with her studies, Anea wants to explore her career as a criminal attorney.
Anea is not a newbie in the pageants and has had her share of pageantry experience. She was the second runner-up at the Miss USA 2015 pageant won by Olivia Jordan. Anea was a representative of Rhode Island at the Miss USA 2015 pageant. Since, USA and Dominican Republic allow dual citizenship; Anea Garcia might be a dual citizen and hence got the opportunity. Anea was hot favourite during the Miss USA 2015 pageant and donned the swimsuit as well as the evening gown round with her confidence and sculpted body. She could have won the pageant, if only her performance during the question and answer round had been better.
The highest placement of Dominican Republic at the Miss Grand International was in the year 2013 when Chantel Martinez finished as the first runner-up. Going by Anea’s overall personality and her looks, she seems to be a fairly strong contender to make a niche at the Miss Grand International 2015 pageant. However, competition this year is not going to be easy, with such strong competitors competing alongside. The early favourites for the Miss Grand International 2015 are Miss Grand India 2015, Vartika Singh, Miss Grand Netherlands 2015 Shauny Bult, Miss Grand Philippines 2015 Parul Shah.
