Born in Fargo, North Dakota, Audra Mari began her pageant career in 2011 as she participated in Miss Teen USA 2011. Now an American model and television host, Audra Mari made her country proud with her incredible achievements in the pageant world.
Born on 8th January 1994, Audra attended North Dakota State University, where she studied public relations and communications. Audra also has a Filipino heritage as her grandfather hails from Philippines. Being bullied her sophomore year of high school, Audra decided to show what she is capable of through participating in pageants. “One time during lunch, I was sitting there with all my friends, and a junior girl walked in my lunch hour. She came up to where I was sitting, and she threw a paper lunch bag at me, and it had my name on it. She said, ‘You can eat this for lunch.’ Inside of the bag were sugar cubes, carrots, horse radish, like just a bunch of stuff that horses would eat and saying that I looked like a horse”, she recollected.
As a teen, she represented the state of North Dakota on 16th July 2011 at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas where she placed 1st runner-up. Three years later she won the Miss North Dakota USA 2014 title and went on to represent her state in Miss USA 2014. She again placed as the first runner-up which became the highest placement for a contestant from North Dakota.
In 2016, she again was crowned Miss World America 2016 at National Harbor in Washington, DC. Audra went on to represent USA at Miss World 2016 where she placed Top 11 and also won the Miss World Americas 2016 title. Having such an accomplished career, Audra has made a name for herself in the pageant world with her sincerity and dedication.
After her pageant days, Audra went on to sign with Los Angeles modeling agency Vision LA and has accrued over 30,000 Instagram followers! Audra has posed for big names like H&M and the Ocean Drive swimsuit issue. In 2019, there were speculations about Audra Mari being in a relationship with actor Josh Duhamel which they confirmed early in the year. It looks like, Audra has created a perfect life for herself and is definitely proud of all her achievements.
