Caley-Rae Pavillard has been crowned Miss Colorado USA 2016 on October 25’ 2015 at the conclusion of the event held at Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley. Pavillard succeeded Miss Colorado USA 2015, Talyah Polee. She will now represent her state at the 2016 Miss USA Pageant where she hopes to be crowned by the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan from Oklahoma.

She managed to defeat forty five other contestants to wear the crown of Miss Colorado USA 2016.
At the same coronation night, Sarah Courtney was adjudged the first runner up, Krystal Harrelson was titled the second runner up, Leanna Jenkins ended up as third runner up, while Sabrina Janssen was the fourth runner up.
Pavillard works as a freelance model with a dragonfly agency in Dallas and is also a fitness instructor at Pure Barre in Dallas.
Caley-Rae is not a newbie in the pageant world; previously she has won the Miss Colorado’s Outstanding Teen 2008 and finished fourth runner-up to Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2008.
At the same event Alexis Wynne bagged the crown of Miss Teen Colorado USA 2016. Alexis will now represent Colorado at Miss Teen USA 2016 pageant next year.
Colorado has been one of the less successful states at Miss USA, and had not had a finalist since 1963, until Jessica Hartman finished as the third runner-up in 2010.
