At the conclusion of the splendid finale of Miss Colombia 2017 (Senorita Colombia 2017) Laura Gonzalez Ospina of Cartagena was crowned as the winner. Laura Gonzales succeeds Miss Universe Colombia 2016 Andrea Tovar, and will now represent Colombia at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, to be held later this year.

21 year old Laura González Ospina was born in Cali and graduated in drama at the School of Actoral Training House Ensamble. At the same pageant, Vanessa Pulgarin Monsalve was adjudged Vice Miss Colombia, Yennifer Hernandez was titled as the First Princess, Vanessa Dominguez was adjudged Second Princess and Maria Fernanda finished as Third Princess.

The finale of Miss Colombia 2017 started with the introduction of the 23 beautiful contestants. The girls walked the stage donning their respective national costumes. After the national costume round, which was accompanied with a musical treat to the audience, it was then time for the girls to sashay the ramp in their respective swimsuits. The contestants flaunted their toned body and lassy legs as they walked the stage in their swimsuits.
The finale event was a night full of musical performances. Miguel Bosé, one of the most beloved international artists in Colombia, exhibited his musical expertise.

The Top 10 finalists then showcased their glamour quotient as they walked the stage in their evening gowns, which led to the announcement of the Top 5 finalists –

The Top 5 finalists were then scrutinized under the Q&A segment, which finally led to the announcement of the Top 3 finalists – Santander, Cartagena and Antioquia.
