Miss Alabama USA 2015 Madison Guthrie, 19, was crowned at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center in Montgomery. The 19 year old gained instant popularity and fame after appearing in an ESPN commercial. She is widely popular on the internet as “Who Is the Hot Alabama Fan in the ESPN ‘Who’s In?’ Commercial?” This was the first ever pageant for Madison Guthrie, a former Spain Park student.

The young and talented Madison hails from Alabama and entered the Miss Alabama USA Pageant as Miss Hoover USA. She is currently studying Interior Design at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, but plans on finishing her degree at the University of Alabama. Madison has been working as a model and actress for the last two years. Growing further with her nurturing modeling career, Madison has worked with brands such as ESPN, IZOD and MAC.  As a newbie to the pageant world, Gurthrie shared her motivation behind her participation at the pageant and says, “I knew of Baskin Champion who won Miss Alabama Teen last year and I saw on social media all the modeling opportunities that unfolded for her. I had never competed in a pageant before but felt it was time to step out of my comfort zone and try something new.”

In her spare time, Madison likes spending time with her family and friends and enjoys cooking, photography and church activities. As a Miss Alabama USA 2015, Madison wishes to become a true inspiration and role model for women and girls of all ages. Miss Alabama USA was her first pageant and she encourages young women to always go for their dreams. Madison is already giving back to the community and plans to continue to do so. She wants to share her testimony and spread the love of Christ across Alabama. If Guthrie is crowned Miss USA, she will become the second Alabama contestant to win the national title. The first was Miss Alabama USA 1967 Sylvia Hitchcock. She went on to be crowned Miss Universe.
