Miss Universe Guatemala pageant is in its 2016 edition, and the pageant is moving towards the much awaited finale with 15 gorgeous contestants. The reigning Miss Universe Guatemala is Jeimmy Aburto. The finale of Miss Universe Guatemala 2016 is scheduled to be held on 28th August 2016, and at the conclusion of the finale Jeimmy will pass on her crown to her successor.

Guatemala has not won any Miss Universe crown till date. In 1955, under the representation of María del Rosario Molina Chacón, the country made it to the Top 15 finalists at the Miss Universe 2016. In 1984 and in 2010 Guatemala made it to the Top 10 finalists list under the representation of Ilma Julieta Urrutia Chang and Jessica María Scheel Noyola respectively.
