At the coronation night of Mexicana Universal Puebla 2018, Regina Peredo Gutiérrez successfully won the crown on 4th October 2018 at the Cartesian Hotel in Puebla by the outgoing queen Mexicana Universal Puebla 2017 Monserrat Curis López and became the official representative of Puebla in the forthcoming pageant of Mexicana Universal 2019.

On being crowned as Mexicana Universal Puebla 2018, the beauty queen was overwhelmed with happiness and excitement and was really grateful to Lupita Jones (national director of Mexicana Universal) and Oscar Perez (state director of the contest) for showing their faith in her and believing that she is the strong contestant who will responsibly fulfil her duties as Mexicana Universal Puebla 2018.

The gleaming beauty is 19 years of age hails from Puebla. She is currently studying the fourth semester of Marketing from a reputed college. Besides being a beauty queen, she works with a Non-Profit Association named Unidos Por El Corazón which works on the objective of spreading happiness amongst underprivileged children by providing them with access to all the necessities.

One of her greatest dreams, since she was little, is to win Miss Universe as well as to promote values ?? in young people that make them better human beings and that in the future, they can replicate Unidos Por El Corazón UPEC's philosophy (United for the Heart).

The diva is a stranger to the pageant world but her confidence and determination will make her earn the rightful place in the upcoming Mexicana Universal 2019 pageant that will host this year’s edition within a few weeks and the reigning Mexicana Universal queen Andrea Toscano will crown her successor at the conclusion of the finale.
