Migbelis Castellanos has been an achiever from the beginning, as a little kid she was drawn towards Baseball, she wanted to become like her father who used to play minor Baseball leagues. From Baseball, Migbelis soon got attracted towards the world of beauty pageants and modelling.

Migbelis Castellanos represented the Costa Oriental region of the state of Zulia at the Miss Venezuela 2013 pageant. She had previously held the title of Miss Teen Costa Oriental 2010. On October 10, 2013, Migbelis was crowned as the Miss Venezuela 2013. She will now represent her country at Miss Universe 2014 to be held in Florida on January 25, 2015.
