Madison Marsh, through her official social media, announced her engagement to her longtime partner Walker Morris. Madison recently created history at the finals of Miss America 2024 held in Orlando, Florida by becoming the first ever member of the United States Armed Forces to win Miss America.

Madison, expressing her emotions, wrote, “The easiest yes. My best friend pulled off the biggest surprise last night. Walker has been planning this for over 6 months since our opera night in Rome. Somehow both of our families and friends kept this a secret from me for months.”

“If you know my family… you know this would be an actual miracle. Walker never fails to put a smile on my face on the scariest and hardest days. There has never been a doubt in my mind when it came to him. Through every moment of uncertainty and hardship, Walker was my constant. A match made in the stars”, she added.

Madison is 22 years of age and holds the position of second lieutenant in the US Air Force. Alongside, Marsh is also a master's student at the Harvard Kennedy School's public policy program. Since 2018, Marsh has been raising awareness and money for pancreatic cancer research through the foundation she founded with her father and sister in honor of her mother, who she lost due to pancreatic cancer.
