Miss Earth Italy 2018 (Miss Terra Italia 2018) finale is right around the corner, and the date and venue of the event have been finalized. The grand coronation of Miss Earth Italy 2018 will take place on July 29, 2018, at the Maglio di Via Granelli, Sesto San Giovanni, Milan. The pageant will be broadcasted on Tv Life Italy and Canale Italia.
At the event finale, Miss Earth Italy 2017 Fabiana Enrica Barra will crown her successor, who will then represent Italy at the Miss Earth 2018 pageant in Boracay, Philippines. Fabiana represented Italy at Miss Earth 2017 pageant but unfortunately did not secure a place at Top 16.
The last time that Italy placed at the Miss Earth pageant was in 2016 when Miss Earth Italy 2016 Denise Frigo was in the Top 16. The highest placement for the country at Miss Earth beauty pageant was in the year 2010 with Ilenia Arnolfo (Top 14). Other than that, Italy is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Earth Pageant.
While the Miss Earth Italy pageant had started in the year 2001, the pageant saw an immediate four-year gap, and was not held from the year 2002-2005. It was organized again after a four-year hiatus and Maria Lucia Leo was crowned the second Miss Earth Italy in 2006.
