Miss France 2021, 91st edition of the national pageant, is all set to be held on 12th December 2020 at Puy du Fou in Les Epesses, Pays de la Loire. Miss Franc 2020 Clemence Botino will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Twenty nine stunning beauties were initially competing for the national crown but Saint Martin and Saint Barthélemy will not be competing after their selected candidate Naïma Dessout was disqualified by the Miss France Committee for having previously participated in a nude photoshoot. Also, no representative was selected to replace Dessout at Miss France.

There are a few provinces left to appoint/crown a representative. Miss France organization has been under the spotlight this year for its apparent regressive approach. A few people have expressed their sadness over the rules and regulations that Miss France organization has been following for a long time. They have been questioning the organization for a simple fact that why a platform which is meant to empower the young woman disqualifying them based on something that they have done for a cause or in the past.
