The finale of the Puteri Indonesia 2017, held on 31st March 2017, was a magnificent night of coronation, and Dea Goesti Rizkita from Jawa Tengah was crowned as Miss Grand Indonesia 2017. Dea succeeds Miss Grand Indonesia 2016 Ariska Putri, and will now represent the country at the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant.

23 year old Dea stands tall at 172cm, and is a student of Master of Professional Psychology. Dea likes to talk a lot and share her feelings with her dear ones. It is her dream to give easy access to proper education to all the children in Indonesia. It had been her childhood dream to become a beauty queen someday, and she finally achieved it. "To me this is not just a competition of who is more beautiful or better. As a finalist or even as a winner, I will be known to the public. With that title, I could have a greater impact on the world," said Dea.

At the same pageant, Bunga Jelitha Ibrani was crowned as Puteri Indonesia 2017, and will represent Indonesia at Miss Universe 2017 pageant; Kevin Lillian was crowned Miss International Indonesia 2017 and will represent Indonesia at the Miss International 2017 pageant; Karina Nadila was crowned as Miss Supranational Indonesia 2017, and will represent Indonesia at Miss Supranational 2017 pageant.

The finale of Puteri Indonesia 2017 was attended by the reigning Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere, and also the Miss Grand International owner Mr Nawat. In addition to announcing the winners, a series of Special Awards were also awarded to the contestants under the following category –

Puteri Talented - Sarjia Samin Ibrahim, Kevin Liliana and Fatma Ayu Husnasari

Best Traditional Outift – Kevin Liliana, Puji Chegana and Dita Fakhrana Utami
