Patcharaporn Chantarapadit is representing Thailand at the ongoing Miss Grand International competition. Being the representative of the host country, Patcharaporn is a really strong contender for the international crown. Patcharaporn is 22 years of age and stands 170 cm tall.
Patcharaporn was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2020 at the original Bitec Bangna Hall on 19th September 2020. Chantarapadit graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English for business communication from Songkla Nakarin University Suratthani campus.
The diva is not new to pageantry as she was a part of Miss Grand Suratthani 2019 where she was awarded as Miss Smart Lady 2019 award and later, she was a part of Miss Grand Ranong Chumpron 2019 where she was awarded as Miss First Impression 2019 award.
The stunning Thai beauty has not let anything get in the way of her journey, not even racial abuse that she got after she was crowned. At the finale as well, she gave voice to her political views by saying she sided with pro-democracy protesters who had staged a mass rally in Bangkok the day before. Her answer incurred the wrath of supporters of Thailand’s repressive military-allied government who began calling her names and saying she was ‘ugly’.
Standing against discrimination, Patcharaporn has stood against it all with grace and dignity and hopes to eradicate such thinking with her reign. The Thai beauty has been performing quite well at the ongoing competition gaining a lot of traction and support from her country as well as her fellow delegates. She sure is a front-runner for the crown and if she wins this year, she will pioneer Thailand’s win at Miss Grand International.
