Miss Grand Japan organization is all set to begin with the 2021 edition as the finalists for the national competition have been announced. The winner will succeed and be crowned by Miss Grand Japan 2020 Ruri Saji and will represent Japan at Miss Grand International 2021.

Miss Grand Japan 2020 Ruri Saji represented Japan at Miss Grand International 2020 which was held on 27th March 2021 in Thailand where she placed in the Top 20 with her stellar performance. Japan is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International.
