Sharon Capó was designated as Miss Grand Paraguay 2024 at the finale of Miss Grand Paraguay 2023 held on 2nd April 2023 at the Paseo Events Center, Asunción. Since her appointment, Sharon has been preparing to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2024.

Sharon had her official coronation ceremony just a few days ago as she got her crown from Miss Grand Paraguay 2023 Maelia Carmen Salcines. A surgeon by profession, Sharon kept pageantry on hold to complete her studies and now she is back to bring effective change. Not new to the pageantry, Sharon also holds the title of Miss Teen Americas 2016.

Miss Grand Paraguay organization also congratulated Sharon as she embarks on an exciting journey filled with opportunities to inspire, empower, and make a difference. They also wished her the best as she carries the banner of elegance and responsibility, representing Paraguay with grace and determination at Miss Grand International 2024.

Sharon, with all the excitement, took to her official social media to announce her participation in a post captioned, “Magic moment, so excited to be able to share this dream with you! Thank you for so much support and love. I will give my 100%, let's go with all my Paraguay!! See you in Myanmar.”

Miss Grand International 2024, the 12th edition of Miss Grand International, will be held in Yangon, Myanmar on 25th October 2024 where Miss Grand International 2023 Luciana Fuster of Peru will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
