In a recent post on the official Facebook page of Miss International Organization, Bamlak Dereje has been confirmed as the new Miss International Ethiopia 2018. She will now represent Ethiopia in Miss International 2018 to be held on 9th November 2018 in Tokyo Dome City Hall, Tokyo, Japan where Miss International 2017 Kevin Lilliana will be crowning her successor.
Frezewd Solomon is 21 years of age and is currently working as a model in Addis Ababa. She is also teaching modelling at an agency names Ethiopian Model. Frezewd is a Marketing major who received her degree from the University of Addis Ababa. She enjoys music and dancing.

Frezewd is experienced when it comes to the pageant world as she was the first runner-up in Miss World Ethiopia 2015 and then went on to become Miss Tourism Queen of Africa 2015. This year she was one of the contestants of Miss World Ethiopia, which means that she will be able to face the challenges that Miss World demands from her.

Ethiopia couldn't be more proud to have a great representative at the #58thMissInternational, with the smart and beautiful Frezewd Solomon. She is one of the tallest delegates this year at nearly 180 cm! Frezewd is the second delegate in a row from her beautiful nation, which is yet to produce a winner in our pageant. Will she be the first one? Share your thoughts!”
Frezewd was one of the contestants in Miss World Ethiopia 2018 which held its grand finale on 12th September 2018. The event also saw the crowning of Miss World Ethiopia 2018 Sollyana Abayneh, Miss Grand Ethiopia 2018 Samrawit Azmeraw and Miss Intercontinental Ethiopia 2018 Bela Lire.
Ethiopia made its return in this prestigious pageant in 2017 after a hiatus of eight years. This is the second consecutive years that Ethiopia is sending a delegate to Miss International. Frezewd succeeds Miss International Ethiopia 2017 Bamlak Dereje. Bamlak, unfortunately, was not able to secure a position in the finale of Miss International 2017.
