Miss Ivory Coast Committee (Comici) announced the 22nd edition of Miss Côte d'Ivoire (Miss Ivory Coast) contest on 31st January 2018 at Novotel Plateau, Abidjan. Just after that, the competition saw a plethora of registrations of stunning girls from the all around the country vying for the title of Miss Côte d'Ivoire 2018 (Miss Ivory Coast 2018).

Miss Ivory Coast competition brings in innovation and especially the unifying theme every year. The theme for this year’s state contests is "Youth employment facing the challenges of emigration" in order to raise awareness and discourage all those who want to try the adventure. The regional contests take place in 12 regions in which 2 girls from each region are selected for the final 24.

This year the coronation night will take place on 2nd June 2018. At the end of it, Miss Ivory Coast 2018 and her runners-up will be chosen who will focus on the themes of health, education and the environment.

The regional contest started with the crowning of candidates from Daoukro with the title Miss Ivory Coast 2018 – Daoukro and the search for the finalists will end in San Pedro, April 28, 2018.

Till now 4 finalists have been confirmed from Daoukro and Aboisso provinces. Here are the names of the girls –

Kolia Erica - Miss Ivory Coast 2018 – Aboisso

Agbo Myriam – 1st runner-up at Miss Ivory Coast 2018 – Aboisso

N’Guessan Carole – Miss Ivory Coast 2018 - Daoukro

Coulibaly Awa - 1st runner-up at Miss Ivory Coast 2018 – Daoukro

The conclusion of Miss Ivory Coast 2018 will see the crowning of Miss World Ivory Coast 2018 who will represent Côte d'Ivoire in Miss World 2018 and she will be crowned by the reigning Miss Ivory Coast 2017 Gbané Mandjalia.
