Kelly O’Grady was crowned Miss Massachusetts USA 2019 at the conclusion of the event held on 18th November 2018. This means Kelly will be representing Massachusetts in Miss USA 2019 to be held next year. If Kelly manages to win the national title, she will earn the right to represent the United States in Miss Universe 2019.
Kelly is 27 years of age, from the city of Cambridge. She has done exceptionally well in her academic front, as she went to Harvard College from where she graduated in the year 2013 and then continued her higher studies in Harvard School of Business, from where she graduated this year.

The court of Miss Massachusetts USA 2019 Kelly O’Grady included 1st runner-up Ashley Baptista, 2nd runner-up Chelsea Demby, 3rd runner-up Sabrina Victor and 4th runner-up Isabelle Varga. The event also saw the crowning of Miss Teen Massachusetts USA 2019 Annie Lu.
Kelly took to her social media to share the news of her crowning and wrote, “I am so honoured to be your new Miss Massachusetts USA 2019! Thank you for helping me grow into the woman I was on that stage tonight. I am overwhelmed by the possibilities that lie ahead this year!”

The new queen was crowned by the outgoing Miss Massachusetts USA 2018 Allissa Latham. Allissa represented Massachusetts in Miss USA 2018 and was able to secure a position in the Top 15 during the finale. Kelly will have to perform equally well in Miss USA 2019, if not better.
Kelly is the correct choice for her state, as she is a very strong candidate. Her beauty will add up to her intelligence and she will be able to present her community, her state as well as herself justly during the finale of Miss USA 2019.
