The finale of Miss North Carolina will be held in the High Point Theatre on 25th February 2023 where the representative of North Carolina for Miss USA 2023 will be crowned. The preliminary competition will take place a day before where the delegates will give their final efforts to get a leg up at the competition.
Contestants between the ages of 14-27 will face off in a variety of competitions. The delegates will compete for thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes in front of a panel of celebrity judges. The winner of Miss North Carolina USA 2023 crown will represent the state in Miss USA 2023 while the winner of Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2023 will represent the state at Miss Teen USA 2023.

The reigning Miss USA is Morgan Romano, who hails from North Carolina and will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
