Kelly Van Den Dungen is all set to represent the Netherlands in the upcoming Miss Supranational 2018 as she was appointed Miss Supranational Netherlands 2018 some time ago. Kelly succeeds Miss Supranational Netherlands 2017 Shanna Boeff.
Kelly is a Media, Information and Communication graduate at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Not new to the pageantry, she was a runner-up in Miss Nederland 2016 and also represented Netherlands in Miss Grand International 2017. With her experience and charm, she sure is going to win over everyone’s heart in the competition.
As she got the news of her delegation, Kelly took to her social media to express her emotions in a post, “I can’t describe the love what I have for pageants and the people around me know for sure that it’s a part of my life. This area of ‘competition’ is meant to build girls up, not tear them down. The skills I have gained from pageantry have and will continue to carry over to my real life. I teach things like to have discipline, a better communication and it gives me more confidence.”
The Netherlands is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Supranational pageant. Last year, Shanna represented the Netherlands in Miss Supranational 2017 but unfortunately failed to secure a position in the top rankings. Do you think Kelly will be able to bring the first-ever Miss Supranational crown?
