Taylor is a blend of ethnicities as her maternal grandfather immigrated from Italy through Ellis Island, and a great-great-grandfather was 100% Cherokee from the Texas-Oklahoma border.

The 23-year-old beauty has an interesting story to share as she always knew her road to success and achievement was no going to be easy. Ever since Taylor was young, she longed to be a part of the pageant world but was bullied through middle school. From Miss Texas Teen USA to Miss Texas USA, her journey has definitely been incredible.

Taylor learned her lessons, overcame the roadblocks and gained mental health to reach where stands today. Her journey was not easy as she became a target of domestic abuse at the hands of a boyfriend. When she recognized her toxic situation and the dangers it entailed, she terminated the relationship with her abuser. She has since become an advocate for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, and has shared her story with others.

In 2019, Taylor wound up with a fractured spine when her car was totalled after hydroplaning and crashing into the median. But with her determination and sincerity, she focused on returning to normal life to participate in Miss Texas USA this year. She is an epitome of beauty and as someone who has never given up in life, she sure will be a motivation for countless women around all the world.

In the professional world, Taylor is about to earn her degree in Communications/Broadcast Productions at Sam Houston State University. A sports enthusiast, she played volleyball on a nationally ranked team and was MVP two years in a row. She is coming a step closer to her ambition of becoming a Sports and Entertainment Reporter as she has conducted rookie interviews and sideline reporting for the Jacksonville Jaguars this summer.

Her achievements also include knowledge of American sign language and is a driven, articulate and versatile beauty queen. She sure will be a strong contender in our opinion at Miss USA 2020.
