Miss Turkey organization has begun the 2022 edition of the national pageant in full swing as over 100 eligible contestants turned up for pre-qualification round yesterday at Lazzoni Hotel in Istanbul. The organization selected twenty finalists who will compete for the crown.

The winners of this year’s competition will represent the country at the upcoming Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Supranational pageants and will succeed Dilara Korkmaz, Cemrenaz Turhan and Sira Sahilli respectively. The most remarkable winner from Miss Turkey has been Azra Akin who was crowned Miss World 2002.
