Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete has shows her support to the Mexico’s decision of participating at the Miss Universe 2015 competition. Ximena expresses her joy and is glad that Mexico will be a part of the Miss Universe beauty pageant, a pageant that she once won.
"The truth is that it would be really sad to take away the opportunity from a beautiful girl who has prepared a lot to represent Mexico and do the best that she can," Navarrete said. "How great that she will go to Miss Universe. It gives me a lot of pleasure."
Further Navarrete adds that she is happy that Lupita Jones, the director of Nuestra Belleza Mexico, agreed to send Wendolly Esparza Delgadillo to the pageant. Previously, Ximena expressed her disappointment over Donald Trump’s controversial comments about the Mexican immigrants. She said, “I have a great relationship with the organizers because they treated me really well. That doesn't mean that I agree with the comments [made by Trump] about Mexicans.”

Ximena is all set to make her debut in films. Her first film, "180 Costuras”, is ready to hit the screen soon in early 2016. The official announcement of Mexico’s participation was made by the Nuestra Belleza Mexico organisation on its Facebook page. The NBM Facebook Page shared a video confirming Wendolly’s participation at the pageant. The video was also shared by the National Director of the pageant, Lupita Jones.
Wendolly confirmed her participation through a video. The video shows Wendolly’s confirmation to participate at the Miss Universe pageant. She even thanked her supporters for the unconditional love and support that they have bestowed on her, right from the time Mexico first pulled out of the pageant.
