Miss Universe 2022, the 71st edition of Miss Universe, has officially started as the delegates from all over the world have arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana to start with the registrations and fittings at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The official new sashes by The Sash Company have been unveiled as well. A few of the contestants have already worn them and while it is different than what the audience is used to, the sash company has kept the classic style with the font and structure.

The official swimsuits for the 71st edition, sponsored by Jacqueline Aguilera, will also be available to the contestants to choose from during the three days of registrations and fittings. The contestants will be able to pick the swimsuits from the wide variety of styles and colours. The swimsuit colors have been chosen keeping in mind the diversity of the contestants.

Portia and Scarlet are the official sponsors of the opening dresses of the contestants for the Miss Universe 2022 edition. Manifesting a glam shoot, the contestants will get to choose from these opening dresses at the registrations and fittings.

Miss Universe 2022, the 71st Miss Universe, will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States on 14th January 2023. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
