Miss Universe 2022, the 71st Miss Universe pageant, will be held at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana in USA on 14th January 2023. For the first time ever, the Miss Universe Organization is run by an all-female leadership team.

As the 2022 edition begins, the online voting poll has officially opened as announce by Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu. The audience voting will help one contestant reach the semi-finals on the finale date.

The official statement of Miss Universe organization read, “Hey Universe – voting is now open! It’s time to get to know the delegates and vote for your favorite to make it into the semifinals at the 71st MISS UNIVERSE competition! Download the Miss Universe app to vote now. Your first vote is free! The more you vote, the better chance your favorite delegate becomes the next Miss Universe! Voting ends on January 13th at 12:00pm ET.”

More than eighty-five contestants will compete for the international crown under the new leadership of Anne Jakkaphong Jakrajutatip, the owner of JKN Global Group. Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu of India will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
