Miss Universe 2023 Update – Public Scores to make a comeback?

Anne Jakrajutatip, the new owner of Miss Universe organization, held a FB Live where she talked about the future of the Miss Universe pageant under her ownership. She also discussed a few key details which will be incorporated into the 2023 edition of Miss Universe.

Amongst all the details, she talked about bringing back the live public scores starting from 2023 edition. 2010 was the last edition where public scores appeared live at the finale where Ximena Navarrete of Mexico was crowned Miss Universe.

However, no official announcement has been made as of now. The audience has surely given mixed response as live public scoring takes away from the suspense of the show. Anne also talked about bringing male hosts and male judges from the 2023 edition.

Miss Universe 2023 will be the 72nd edition of Miss Universe which will be held in the host country of El Salvador. Miss Universe 2022 R’Bonney Gabriel of USA will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The pageant will be held later this year, however a finale date or venue will be announced later.
