The finale of Miss Universe Indonesia Jawa Timur 2023 was held on 18th June 2023 at the Shangri-La Surabaya Hotel where Catherina Sherly Meliana was crowned the new winner as she became the official delegate of Jawa Timur at the inaugural edition of Miss Universe Indonesia 2023.

Catherina Sherly Meliana hails from Malang city and bested 19 other contestants to win the state crown. On winning the crown, Sherly quoted, “I'm really grateful that Miss Universe Indonesia East Java has given me the opportunity to go to a national event. Hopefully we can learn more and also give our best so that the results are the best.”

The newly crowned Miss Universe Indonesia Jawa Timur 2023 Catherina Sherly Meliana’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Natasha Keniraras

2nd Runner-up – Fransisca Evelyn Sinjaya

Along with Catherina, the first runner-up and the fan vote winner will also be joining as the official delegates of Miss Universe Indonesia 2023. 

The panel of jury responsible for crowning the winner included CEO of Miss Universe Indonesia Eldwen Wang, Deputy Province Director of Miss Universe Indonesia East Java 2023 Diah Dharmayanti, Ph.D, Doctor of L'Viors Beauty Clinic, Dr. Findrilia Sanvira Santoso M.Biomed AAM, AAM, Vice President of Parahita Diagnostic Center Mizan Sulthon, National Presenter Masayu Maya and Indonesian Senior Model Arzeti Bilbina.
