Miss Universe Philippines organization has announced the Top 40 delegates who will be competing for the fourth edition of Miss Universe Philippines. The finale date and time is yet to be announced for the pageant where Celeste Cortesi Miss Universe Philippines 2022 will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.

In a series of features, lets introduce the Top 40 delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023. Hyra Desiree Betito, a proud Cebuana, has made it as one of the official delegates of the national competition. She is representing Surigao Del Norte at the national stage.

On making it as one of the official delegates of Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Hyra took to her official social media as she wrote, “I still can’t believe that i finally took my first step towards the universe and I can’t help but be overwhelmed by the support I’ve gotten since then.”

“Today I’ll be taking another step and I’m excited to talk more about my purpose of joining this pageant, which is not just to be a representative of the Philippines in the international stage, but to bring awareness to an advocacy that is very close to my heart, which is autism awareness”, she added.

Explaining her advocacy, Hyra recently introduced her handsome future step-son Kian Harley Capinpin Neberba who was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2. She believes everyone, regardless of anything, should get equal opportunities in life. “I've heard sad stories about families especially mothers who constantly fear that their children wouldn't survive the world. I felt the pain in their eyes, if only I could ease the pain that they are feeling”, she quotes.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2023 winner will be the successor of Celeste Cortesi, who represented the Philippines at the Miss Universe 2022 in January. The winner of the upcoming pageant will compete at the 72nd Miss Universe which will take place in El Salvador in late 2023.
