The first edition of Miss Universe Zimbabwe, under the new national director Tendai Hunda, has begun as twenty-five delegates have been selected to compete for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 crown. The finale of Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 will be held on 16th September 2023.
The contestants were selected following various rounds of auditions. The new national director Tendai Hunda, a former Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss Intercontinental 2015 fourth runner-up. The theme of this year’s national pageant is ‘Beautifully Confident’.
The Top 25 delegates competing for Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 are Allyfina Mwanyali, Amanda Mpofu, Angela Guta, Audrey Ward, Ayanda Candice Sibanda, Brooke Bruk Jackson, Chelsea Dube, Chipo Mandiudza, Gamuchirai Jonhera, Hailey Chawapiwa, Kelsie Sithole, Krystal Osieki, Life Matunzeni, Monalisa Kandava, Nicole Musiyarira, Noliwe Shand, Nokutenda Marumbwa, Prudence Moyo, Ruvimbo Chirunga, Stacey Salaman, Tariro Katuruza, Thando Mitcho, Tashinga Musara, Yamikani Nyenga and Zarah East.
The winner of Miss Universe Zimbabwe 2023 will compete at Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, which will be held in El Salvador on 18th November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
