This year the Miss Universe pageant has brought in a lot to be happy and excited about. Not just the contestants are extremely beautiful and talented, but also, the events and activities are way more grand, plus introducing few new twists and segments has only added more variety. The National Costume Competition of Miss Universe 2015 was also something new and creative. The contestants ditched the usual idea of a National Costume, and came up with some creative and innovative ideas to exhibit their culture and pay their tributes. Nena France Miss Great Britain wore The Union Jack flag costume which looked marvellous on her. The costume actually looked like the one which can be featured in Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Nena looked confident as she donned the costume in whole panache.
Amina Dagi Miss Austria paid a tribute to Eurovision winner Conchita Wurst through her national costume. Her tribute costume is a nod to the LGBT community and showcases the bearded Conchita, Austria’s first Eurovision win since Eurovision 1966.

Next in line is Urvashi Rautela Miss India, who through her National Costume depicted the form of Goddess called “Apsara”. This was something unique that India has introduced and he costume truly made her look like Apsara.
Another costumed that won our hearts was that of Asli Melisa Uzun Miss Turkey. She showcased the historical monuments of Turkey in a beautifully designed foldable bottom skirt. It was creative and also very appealing.

Last but not the least, the costume that impressed us was that of Spain’s. Carla Barber Garcia portrayed Don Quixote through her National Costume that followed the half female and half male pattern.
