Miss Universe Mauritius 2018 (Estrella Mauritius 2018) has changed the date of the competition in a recent turn of the event.
The pageant was to take place on March 17, 2018, earlier but just recently, the pageant organizers announced on the official Facebook page of the pageant that the date has been shifted to 5th May 2018. This change comes due to the yet to be disclosed international public figures who will be attending the Miss Universe Mauritius 2018 coronation night.
They also informed that the award-winning hotel, LUX* Resorts and Hotels Grand Gaube will be hosting this National Pageant this year.
The contest has already chosen the 20 contestants who are taking part in the competition vying for the crown and title of Miss Universe Mauritius 2018 and get the chance to represent Mauritius in Miss Universe 2018.

The Miss Estrella pageant was established by Nevin Rupear in 2016. The main purpose is promoting the Mauritian flair and beauty.
Last year Estrella Mauritius was appointed as the new franchise holder for Miss Universe Mauritius by The Miss Universe organization.
