Josie Stephens was crowned Miss Nevada USA 2023 on Sunday, 25th June 2023 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas as she became the official representative of Nevada at Miss USA 2023. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Nevada USA 2022 Summer Keffeler.

Josie Stephens is 27 years of age and an offshore chemical engineer for Baker Hughes. She is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Josie bested 16 other contestants to win the state. "I am going to Miss USA. A dream I have dreamed of for 9 years is finally my reality”, she quoted as she won the state crown. No stranger to the pageantry, Josie Stephens has been participating in Miss Louisiana USA for years before trying her luck this year.

The newly crowned Miss Nevada USA 2023 Josie Stephens court included –

1st Runner-up – Arianna Siefert of Valley of Fire

2nd Runner-up – Alexis Smith of Summerlin

3rd Runner-up – Emily Delgado of Henderson

4th Runner-up – Tylar Bester of Battleborn

Also at the finale, Emily Cox of Silver State was crowned Miss Nevada Teen USA 2023 and will now represent Nevada at Miss Teen USA 2023. Her runners-up included Sofia Forrest Turner of Paradise, Kalli Mejia of Reno, Alexandra Kouretas of Summerlin, Kiera Heaven of Las Vegas, and Hannah Branca of Henderson who were adjudged first, second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up respectively.
