At the conclusion of the finale of the Bulgarian national beauty pageant, Miss World & Universe Bulgaria 2018, held at Rainbow Plaza in Sofia, Bulgaria on 12th September 2018, Gabriela Topalowa was crowned Miss Universe Bulgaria 2018. She succeeds Miss Universe Bulgaria 2017 Nikoleta Todorova and will now represent Bulgaria in Miss Universe 2018 international beauty pageant to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 16th December 2018.
The competition was organized by Veneta Krusteva who has the distinction of being the first Bulgarian girl to represent her country in both Miss Universe and Miss World pageants, and now holds the national franchises of Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Grand International beauty pageants. Veneta was also the Chairman of the jury for the finale of Miss World and Universe Bulgaria 2018.
At the same event, Kalina Miteva was crowned Miss World Bulgaria 2018, Beloslava Yordanova was crowned Miss Grand International Bulgaria 2018, and Gabriela Vasileva was crowned Miss Europe Bulgaria 2018, and will represent Bulgaria in Miss World 2018, Miss Grand International 2018 and Miss Europe 2018 respectively. Besides, the representatives from Bulgaria for several minor international beauty pageants including Miss Model of the World and Miss Friendship International were also crowned at the finale.
